New Naira Withdrawal Limit Set By CBN For Commercial Banks

The Central Bank Of Nigeria has made it known to all commercial banks to start dispensing the new naira notes over the counter.

Initially, the banks withheld the withdrawal of these notes due to their low circulation, and only ATMs were permitted to dispense limited cash to customers.

But, recently, CBN has ordered all commercial banks to dispense the new notes.

Banks that fail to adhere to this order will face the consequences.

The CBN has promised to visit commercial banks to ensure that they implement this new regulation.

However, customers are only allowed to withdraw a maximum of twenty-thousand naira daily.
